Voyages into the Past is a cross-institutional social sciences outreach organization that aims to bridge the gap between the classroom and the wider world. Comprised of students from a number of Kolkata and Delhi institutes, Voyages has spent over three years working on bringing accessible and free knowledge to the masses and to educate students and citizens on matters that are important and necessary to become dutiful citizens.

Voyages into the Past organises public lecture and discussion sessions led by academics and experts on the fields in question. About one event takes place every month - either online or in-person.

L'histoire is a biannual, semi-academic magazine published by Voyages into the Past. It is an electronic publication, with each issue dedicated to a particular theme, and entries by students and young academics from across the country.

The Illiberalism in Liberal Spaces Project is an oral archive that Voyages is in the process of building, attempting to preserve experiences and narrative of student resistance to state repression and hegemony across the country.

Voyages regularly publishes blog pieces and writings on matters of contemporary and historical importance in a variety of different formats. Blog pieces are available on the Voyager (hosted on Tumblr) while other content can be found on our social media
